You can apply overrides and adjustments to forecasts to account for information not contained in the historical data. - Assumption record: Usually contains a single value, such as COGS or a balance. You can use an Assumption record as an adjustment to a Forecast record or as a single value to apply to values in a report. - Data Source record: Identifies a data source of historical data for CCH Tagetik Supply Chain Planning. A data source can be a static file or a dynamic source, such as a SQL database. Other Data Source records, such as Data Entry and Data Table, contain data to augment the data in the data source.
Record type	Describes the content of the record data. Each record in CCH Tagetik Supply Chain Planning is defined as a record type, such as Adoption, CAGR, or Time Series Forecast.
