Navigation mode: filters

Data displayed in navigation mode

Navigation mode allows you to read data from the CCH Tagetik database. These data are shown on the basis of filters set on the form during the design step and the user's visibility rights over the CCH Tagetik dimensions.

Defining parameters

If parameters are inserted when a form is designed, when that form is run in navigation mode the system shows a window in which those parameters can be defined. This allows you to filter the subset of data to be shown in the form.

Changing the dimensions on which to filter

While the form is open, the selected dimensions can be changed, without having to close and rerun the same form, using the Predefined filters function (see Predefined filters).
