Reporting functionalities and engines
Comparison of supported functionalities¶
A comparison between some of the functionalities supported by the two types of engine is provided below:

Functionalities not implemented¶
A list of functionalities that are not implemented by either of the two reporting engines is provided below.
- Initial balance calculation for the Quarter To Date (QTD), Semester To Date (STD) or Life To Date (YTD) period length
- Filter (matrix) by ORIGIN, USER, JOURNAL NUMBER (NUM_RETTIFICA)

FX rate on the fly in all types of dataset under the following conditions:

the Life to date (LUN_YTD) period length is applied
- OR filters are used for any dimension, excluding the Account dimension.
Note: on-the-fly conversion with OR filters for the Account Dimension is supported for both OR leaf filters and OR node filters. - several configured Currency filters exist on the same cell.
When the on-the-fly FX rate is used in a dataset by applying the life to date period length, the system behaves as follows both then the form is saved and when the form is opened in data entry mode:
- In design mode, when the Matrix Wizard is closed, a warning appears notifying the user of incorrect configuration.
- In data entry mode, an incorrect configuration warning only appears if the user clicks on the warning button on the Data Entry toolbar.
