Purpose of the page¶
This page allows you to set up the categories or nodes of categories whose data are used in the net equity valuation.
To generate the financial investment at equity evaluation journal, CCH Tagetik must consider the following data:
- the financial statement data (amounts) of the entity consolidated at equity
- its entity journals
- the net equity elimination journals in which the involved entity is the child
- the journal for the minorities calculation.

| Category for journals at equity | If associated with a node of categories, the generated equity evaluation journals include all data for the node’s categories. If associated with several categories of amounts and/or entity journal, the calculated equity evaluations are incorporated into a single journal for every owner entity. If associated with individual categories of consolidation journals, an equity evaluation journal is generated for every journal to be subject to equity evaluation/owner entity. IMPORTANT: the minorities calculation on amounts journals and entity journals must in any case be configured for equity evaluation. |
