Purpose of the page

This page allows you to map input categories onto output categories, to apply the selected rule. The categories can be selected as single elements or as nodes of a group of categories.

When the settings on this page are saved, a deployment which feeds the Definition result table is run. This table is not shown, but the data processing reads the Definition result.

Attributes on the page

Tab	Description
Action	Allows you to select the action to be run on the selected mapping.
Input category	For IC Amount rules, it is possible to select categories of amounts. For Gross Amount and Entity journal rules, it is possible to select amount and entity journal categories. For the Consolidation journal rules, it is possible to select the categories specified in the 'Read from' option: - consolidation journals - amounts and Entity journals IMPORTANT: if a single input category is selected, this must have the To run option selected in the list.
Output category	For the Gross Amount and IC Amount rules, it is possible to select Amount categories. For Entity journal rules, it is possible to select Entity journal categories. For Consolidation journal rules, it is possible to select categories of consolidation journals.
