Purpose of the page

This page allows you to map input categories onto output categories, to apply the selected rule. The categories can be selected as single elements or as nodes of a group of categories.

When the settings on this page are saved, a deployment which feeds the Definition result table is run. This table is not shown, but the data processing reads the Definition result.

Attributes on the page

Tab	Description
Action	Allows you to select the action to be run on the selected mapping.
Input category	For rules which do not have the Write on same journal option active, you can select categories of amounts, entity journals and consolidation journals. For rules which do have the Write on same journal option active, you can select categories of consolidation journals. IMPORTANT: if a single input category is selected, this must have the To run option selected in the list.
Output category	It is possible to select categories of consolidation journals. For rules that have the Write in same journal option active, the output category is not visible.
