Purpose of window

This window allows you to configure the parameters and filters for opening the intercompany matching cockpit. The parameters are shown on two pages in the same window.

Buttons in the window

Button Description
Previous Shows the previous page of parameters to be configured.
Next Shows the next page of parameters to be configured.
Run Opens the IC matching cockpit according to the set parameters.
Reverse Closes the window without opening the IC matching cockpit.

Fields in window

Field Description
Process Shows the selected process when entering the cockpit, and is not editable.
Show on columns If the selected process is a single submission process, it allows you to choose what is displayed on the IC cockpit columns: - IC matching logics: the scenario/period can be selected from a list. - Scenario/Period: the IC matching logics can be selected from a list. In the IC cockpit, therefore, it is not the matching logics but the scenarios/periods that will be shown on the columns. If you also choose to view P&L on periodic data (or on logics at the period average FX rate), the data of each scenario/period will be shown considering the period length of the last significant scenario/period of the process. When the IC matching cockpit reports and the FX rate differences detail report are exported for all scenarios/periods, they take account of the period length of the individual scenario/period and therefore, different values may be found in the event that the periods are of different lengths.
Scenario /Period For scenario/period submission processes, the field is defined with the scenario/period selected on accessing the cockpit and it cannot be edited. For single submission processes, the field is defined with the last significant scenario/period of the process (if it is visible to the user and is not offline). The user can change this scenario/period, unless the scenarios/periods are not shown in a column.
Step/Cockpit Step/cockpit for which to run matching Note: the IC cockpit with the highest code present on the lowest step will be shown by default.
Show P&L on periodic data If selected, the amounts are shown considering the period value rather than the cumulated value. The displayed figure is the difference between the amounts present on the selected period and the amounts present on the previous period, applying the appropriate FX rates. This setting only has an effect on matching logics with a P&L or Other Variations accounts filter. By clicking on amounts from the IC cockpit, you can thus see the following information: - Show IC: the periodic values with amounts converted to the Cockpit amount. However, the displayed IC entries cannot be edited. - Edit IC: the cumulated IC entries. The transactions of the period can be inserted. IMPORTANT: For the period value to be displayed correctly, all scenarios/periods involved in the calculation must be either offline or online.
Cockpit currency Currency with which the cockpit is opened. The chosen preferred currency is proposed.
Relationship type The way in which you want to run matching, see Matching method.
Entity Only displayed if the 'by Entity Node' relationship type is not selected. Entities selected in the cockpit; cannot be edited. If nodes are selected, the Entities belonging to those nodes are displayed.
Entity node Only shown if the “by Entity Node” relationship type is selected. Nodes selected in the cockpit, not editable. If entities are selected, the cockpit displays the nodes to which those entities belong.
Show non-editable entities Only displayed if the 'Entity Node' relationship type is not selected. Also shows the relationships in which the selected entities are involved, even if they cannot be edited by the user.
Exclude relationships between entities that belong to the same node Only shown if the “by Entity Node” relationship type is selected. Only relationships between entities belonging to different nodes are shown.
CTP entity Only displayed if the “by Entity Node” relationship type is not selected. Filters for the counterparty entities that you want to be displayed in the IC cockpit.
CTP Entity Node Only shown if the “by Entity Node” relationship type is selected. Filters the counterparty nodes that you want to be displayed in the IC cockpit.
CTP Entity filter by consolidation scenario Allows you to select a consolidation scenario to populate the list of counterparty entities that will be used for opening the cockpit. To match IC relationships between the entities belonging to a specific consolidation scenario, the IC cockpit must be accessed from a consolidation node and the consolidation scenario that includes the desired entities must be elected in this field.
IC matching logic Matching logics/rules to be shown in the cockpit columns.
Account nature filter Filters the IC matching logics, displaying only those with accounts of the specified nature in the cockpit.
Show only columns with related data Default settings. If selected, only IC matching logics that have at least one associated figure or do not influence the outcome of the matching will be shown. For example, those which are linked to entities/matching logics not to be matched or those with unbalanced amounts below the threshold, if the Show unbalanced amounts above the threshold option is selected. IMPORTANT: deselect this option to see all the columns in the IC cockpit.
Manual matching greater than Shows only the pairs of relationships/IC matching logics for which there is manual matching greater than the specified value.
Presence of FX rate differences greater than Shows only the pairs of relationships/IC matching logics for which there is FX rate differences greater than the specified value.
Unbalanced amounts Shows only the pairs of relationships/IC matching logics for which the unbalanced amount exceeds one of the following thresholds: Unbalanced amount above the threshold: the threshold is defined for every rule. Unbalanced amount above: the threshold is the value indicated in the field below. IMPORTANT: to run the balancing check, the threshold value is converted into the IC cockpit currency. The FX rate used for the conversion is the final FX rate.
Hide Balanced rules This can only be set if the Unbalanced amounts option is selected. Only unbalanced pairs of relationships/IC matching logics will be shown.
Ignore currency If selected, CCH Tagetik ignores the currency for the IC matching logics for which balancing by individual currency is required. Useful for running a check that does not take account of any declarations made on incorrect currencies.
Detect errors in the Setup If selected, before displaying the cockpit CCH Tagetik runs preliminary checks on the validity of the configuration.
