Introduction

This data loading operation uses the Load data from external datasources onto Analytical Workspace data processing as defined in a Quick Data Loader configuration.

The source of the loading is the current activity's dataset/type, while the target is one of the datasets/reporting layers of the current Analytical Workspace.

The deletion policies and editability checks defined for the importing of data via the Quick Data Loader are applied in the journal (see ).

For this type of loading, the following must be specified:

  • the target Dataset for the downloading of data onto the reporting layer partition
  • the Datasource mapping, i.e. the configuration to be used for loading the data.

Datasource mapping characteristics

The datasource mappings that can be selected in loading must have the following characteristics:

  • read from the current activity's target dataset/type
  • write on the selected dataset/reporting layer.

Parameters not supported

The following reporting parameters are not supported in the Multi Organisation Process:

  • Numeric
  • Dimension
  • Simple Financial Statement Template
  • Advanced Financial Statement Template

The following system parameters are not supported:

  • TARGET_PARTITION
