Export to Financial Workspace

Introduction

This upload operation allows the Reporting Layer data of the target dataset of the current activity to be exported to the Financial Workspace. To do so, it exploits the functionality present in the Financial workspace mapping.

Configuration

To add the upload to the configuration, simply select it as the Loading Type; the code and main description are pre-filled but can be edited before saving Once saved, you can always edit the descriptions, as with all uploads.

In the loading detail, a badge is shown indicating whether or not Financial workspace mapping is configured for the current task dataset. If this mapping is not available, you can still add and save the loading during the configuration phase.

Execution

Loading is performed within the activity if:

  • the Financial workspace mapping is configured for the current activity dataset.
  • DTP is launched by an Entity step.
  • DTP is launched from a Custom Dimension step, and beta functionalities are enabled.

Loading is not performed within the activity if:

  • the Financial workspace mapping is not configured for the current activity dataset.
  • DTP is launched by an Analytical Dimension step.
  • DTP is launched by a Custom Dimension step and beta functionalities are not enabled.

In these cases, the DTP will not be interrupted but will display a warning at the end of execution regarding the failed upload.
