Purpose of window

This window allows you to copy the net equity value for a specific event.

Fields in window

Element	Description
Financial Statement	Copies the net equity value from the owned entity's financial statements for the specified scenario/period/category. Only the normal accounts which have the Use account to set up net equity option enabled in the chart of accounts are read. You can limit the categories used to read data and specify whether the category of the copied data must be overridden with another category indicated in Specific category. If the Same original category option is active, the defined category will be the category present in the financial statement data. Otherwise it is the same as the indicated Specific category. If the Same original category option is active, the amount will be the amount present in the financial statements. Otherwise the amount will be calculated as the sum of all the amount rows to be copied, keeping the accompanying dimensions. The system calculates the value of any existing net equity for the selected relationship. IMPORTANT: The profit account defined in the financial statements is copied onto its reversal account defined for the entity journals.
Previous event	Copies the net equity value from a previous event. Any net equity value for the event on which to run the copy is deleted and the net equity value defined in the previous event selected is inserted. It is necessary to specify the relationship to be used to make the copy: the events proposed are those whose owned entity is the owned entity of the relationship on which to make the copy and which have a date prior or equal to the event date of the relationship on which to make the copy. This is useful when there are entities that have several owners since, if an owned entity undergoes a change in net equity then theoretically a new event is inserted for every owner entity and the same net equity is shown in each of the events.
