Run asset depreciation from a job

Tagetik allows the user to run the asset depreciation also from a task of a job.

Let's therefore suppose that we are inside a job and we want to define a new task for running the above data processing. The steps to follow are:

• define a new task via the Edit key of the Job
• In the top band, you can see the operations that you can add divided by type.. Go to the Main Data processing tab
• Drag and drop down the Data Processing by {NOME_AZIENDA} icon

• You can open the following parameters in the window:

• Process.

• Original scenario / period.
• Entity.
• Data process. Here select CONTR_BDG_DEPRECIATON

• Disable impacted. By enabling this option, the system processes everything without any filter on modified data, otherwise it is able to determine which data have changed and process only what is necessary; i.e. it avoids processing the entities whose input data have not been modified since the last launch

• Position and connect it in the Job according to our needs

By using the All option, the values to be assigned to the corresponding parameter will be determined by the system when running the job and will coincide with all possible values existing for that parameter at that time

When saving data, the task may turn yellow or red with an exclamation mark in the right corner.

By clicking on the exclamation point, the system will give us messages about the errors present, which prevent saving data.
