Purpose of the page¶
This page allows you to insert the following information, which is essential to generate the necessary adjustment journals in the cases of the assignment of an asset between companies in the group:
- the accounts to be used for generating the journals
- the categories to be populated by the capital gain elimination journals and the journals for the restoration of the asset’s historical cost and depreciation fund.
Fields in the Attributes tab

| Description | Description of the asset class in all enabled languages |
| Management type | - Capital gain, i.e. the difference between the sale price and the net book value of the assigned asset. - Sale revenues and book value |
| Disable automatic depreciation management | Depreciation is not managed, as is the case for financial assets, for example. |
Fields in the Seller tab

| Capital gain | Only for Management type = Capital gain Normal P&L account on which to eliminate the capital gain/loss registered in the assigning entity’s financial statements. |
| Reserve | Only for Management type = Capital gain Balance sheet account to be used as the contra-entry to eliminate the capital gain. |
| Profit from the sale of assets | Only for Management type = Sale revenues and book value Normal P&L account on which to eliminate the sale revenue registered in the assigning entity’s financial statements. |
| Reserve: contra-entry for Profit from the sale of assets | Only for Management type = Sale revenues and book value Balance sheet account to be used as the contra-entry for the profit from sale of assets. |
| Assets: book value in P&L | Only for Management type = Sale revenues and book value Normal P&L account on which to register the book value of the assigned asset. |
| Reserve: contra-entry of the book value | Only for Management type = Sale revenues and book value Balance sheet account to be used as the contra-entry of the book value. |
| Assets: assignment variation (only for reclassification) | Balance sheet variation account on which the assigning company has registered the sale of the asset in its financial statements. Note: for consolidation purposes, this variation entry must be reclassified because the intercompany assignment event is a neutral operation. |
| Depreciation fund: assignment variation (only for reclassification) | Balance sheet variation account adjusted in the financial statements of the assigning entity to extinguish the depreciation fund of the asset subject to assignment. In consolidation, this adjustment cannot be registered. |
| Impairment: assignment variation (only for reclassification) | Balance sheet variation account on which the assigning company has registered the impairment value in its financial statements. |
| Category for capital gain | Category on which the elimination journal is generated. Must be a Consolidation adjustment category. |

| Assets: purchase | Balance sheet account on which the acquiring entity has registered the acquisition event. |
| Depreciation fund: transfer | Balance sheet account on which to reclassify the assigning company’s depreciation fund. |
| Depreciation fund: depreciation | Balance sheet account on which the acquiring company books annual depreciation. |
| Impairment: transfer | Balance sheet account on which to reclassify the value of the impairment registered by the assigning company. |
| Assets: transfer | Balance sheet account on which to reclassify the historical cost of the asset subject to assignment |
| Reserve | Only for Management type = Capital gain Reserve balance sheet account of the acquiring company, used as the contra-entry in the journal for restoring the group historic cost. |
| Reserve: contra-entry of Profit from the sale of assets of the Seller | Only for Management type = Sale revenues and book value Reserve balance sheet account of the acquiring company, used as the contra-entry of the profit from the sale of assets realised by the assigning company. |
| Reserve: contra-entry of the book value of the Seller | Only for Management type = Sale revenues and book value Reserve balance sheet account of the acquiring company, used as the contra-entry of the book value of the seller. |
| Amortisation/Depreciation | Normal P&L account on which the acquiring company books the annual depreciation amount. |
| Category for Assets | on which the system generates the journal for restoring the historical group cost (must be a Consolidation adjustment category). |
