Purpose of window

This window allows you to configure CCH Tagetik’s reporting add-in in Excel. It is displayed automatically when the add-in is first used, but can be opened at any time.

Tabs in the window

Element	Description
Connection	Allows you to configure the connection to web services.
Local parameters	Allows you to set the following: - the specific local parameters of the Reporting module - the log level of the Reporting module

Buttons in the window

Element	Description
	Add a connection.
	Change the selected connection.
	Delete the selected connection.
	- Save the changes made to a pre-existing connection. - Save a new connection.
	Undo the last action.
	Run a connection test on the URL of the selected connection and view the result in a dedicated window.
	Set the selected connection as the working connection.

Fields in Local parameters

Element	Description
Enable automatic updating of Add-in	When the add-in is opened, the system shows any available updates and allows you to download them.
Temporary folder	Folder in which temporary files generated by the add-in are saved. This can be the Windows temporary files folder or a folder chosen by the user.
User settings folder	Folder containing the add-in configuration files. See Configure local reporting parameters.
Enable Delete temporary files	Enables the automatic deletion, from the folder specified as the Temporary folder, of temporary files that are older than the age specified in the Number of days field.
Use the new communication mechanism	Enables the use of the mechanism of communication with the Chromium-based server.
Cache
Enable cache	Enables the use of the cache on add-in data.
Cache folder	Folder in which the cache is saved.
