Drill Down
Introduction¶
The Drill down is a procedure for displaying information at a greater level of detail by deploying the children of the selected hierarchy node.
When configuring the visual, it is therefore necessary to specify a hierarchy for the dimension(s) to drill down.
This interaction has a temporary effect, whereby reloading the page returns to the initial state on all visuals
Drill Down on a Single Element¶
To drill down, double-click on a hierarchy node within a visual, such as the element description on the axis or legend, a bar, a line or an area, depending on the type of visual selected.
If both a dimension and a hierarchy are set on the axis and the legend, drilling down on the element representing the dimension pair (e.g. a column or a bar) will deploy the nodes of both dimensions.
For each visual, you can return to a previous state by navigating the entries that are added to the top left of the visual after each drill-down operation. Use the Home button to return to the initial state.
