Interacting with dimensional element or matching a dimensional pair

This procedure is useful for interacting with dimensional elements or elements that correspond to a pair of elements and applying the temporary filter to all visuals on the dashboard.

  1. Click on a dimensional element or an element that corresponds to a dimensional pair to apply the filter.

Note: the selected element is highlighted and all others are deselected (grey) 2. Click on the same or a different element to deselect an already selected element or dimension pair.

Note: an icon will appear on all visuals with the temporary filter applied

Note: by Default all elements will be highlighted, no filter will be applied to the chart

Interacting with multiple elements that correspond to a pair of elements or dimensional elements simultaneously

This procedure is useful for interacting with one or more dimensional elements or elements that correspond to a pair of elements and applying the temporary filter on all visuals on the dashboard.

  1. Click on elements or elements that correspond to a pair of elements
  2. Click on a new element by pressing the CTRL key to simultaneously select one or more dimensional elements or dimensional pairs

Note: the selected elements are highlighted and all others are deselected (grey)

  1. Click on the selected item or on a deselected item without pressing CTRL to deselect an item.

Note: an icon will appear on all visuals with the temporary filter applied

Note: by default all elements or pairs of elements will be highlighted, no filter will be applied to the chart
