Note: if the job is locked, the Parameters window will be read only

Purpose of the page

This window allows you to manage all the parameters used by the job routines and their extraction, transformation and loading tasks.

Attributes tab

This tab only allows you to edit the Parameter value and Define fields automatically (insertions and deletions are not permitted).

Field	Description
ETL domain	indicates the ETL domain to which the parameter belongs
Parameter	indicates the parameter code IMPORTANT: If the same parameter is used several times, the system will only consider it once.
Parameter type	indicates the parameter type, which defines the fields to be completed - From Tagetik and From dimension dictionary: it is possible to populate the Parameter value field or activate the Define automatically field - Free: it is only possible to populate the Parameter value field; - From imported data or Imported data intersection: you can only activate the Define automatically option.
Parameter value	allows you to assign a default value to the parameter
*Define automatically*	allows you to define the parameter automatically during the job’s execution.
