Purpose of the page

This page shows the history of submission and publication activities for the selected journal.

If the entity to which the journal is related is associated with a task workflow formed of the submission task and one or several approval tasks, the following rows are tracked:

  • one row with “Approval” and Task Activities equal to the submission task code, when the submission task is run: the journal changes status to “in submission”.
  • one row with “Approval” and Task Activities equal to the approval task code, when one of the approved tasks is run: the journal keeps “in submission” status.
  • a final row with “Submission” and Task Activities equal to the submission task code, when the last approval task is run: the journal changes status to “submitted”.

If the journal category is one of those for which the status 'Draft Journal' is managed, the following rows are drawn:

  • a row with 'Draft' Activity, when the journal is in draft mode
  • a row with 'Publication' Activity, when the journal is published
  • a row with Activity 'Unposting', when the journal is cancelled

Data on the page

Element Description
Date Date on which the activity was run.
Activities Activity run. This can be one of the following: - Approval - Submission - Rejection - In progress - Publication - Unposting
Task flowchart Code of the task workflow specified for the entity to which the journal is related. Only defined if a task workflow different from the default task workflow has been specified for the entity to which the journal is related and if the type of activity being run is Approval or Submission.
Task Code of the task performed. Only defined if a task workflow different from the default task workflow has been specified for the entity to which the journal is related and if the type of activity being run is Approval or Submission.
Task description Description of the task performed. Only defined if a task workflow different from the default task workflow has been specified for the entity to which the journal is related and if the type of activity being run is Approval or Submission.
User Code of the user who ran the activity.
User description Description of the user who ran the activity.
