Purpose of the page¶
Allows you to extract any numerical data present in the financial model of a CCH Tagetik application and analyse it using a pivot table, directly from the web interface, or by downloading it as a local MS Excel file.
It may be useful to bookmark this page to be able to run this report with the pre-set filters (see ).
Note: if created from a web form, the bookmark opens the source form, not the Ad-hoc analysis form.
Page content¶
The page shows several rows, one for each Hierarchy or Grouping to be viewed or filtered.
For the Account dimension, in addition to hierarchies, you can use Control groups, Reclassification FSTs or Forms to specify the accounts to be shown or filtered.
If opened from a process cockpit, the fields for the Scenario, Period and Entity dimensions will be pre-set using those selected in the cockpit.

IMPORTANT: this page will not be shown if the report is run from a web form. In this case, the report is generated directly with the filters set in the selected cell or the relative matrix.
Report contents¶
The report is generated in Excel format and contains two spreadsheets: data and pivot table.
| Sheet | Description |
|---|---|
| Data | Table of records extracted for the report. In addition to the column containing the amount, one or two columns are presented for every dimension that has been set to generate the report, for which the Detail option is active. The number of columns shown depends on how the Display mode field is set. The column name is the name of the level, if set in the data form, or a name defined by CCH Tagetik. If the display mode is set to columns, the columns will report the word “(Code”) or “(Description)”. Note: the order of the columns can only be changed in Excel, i.e. only once the report has been generated. |
| Pivot table | Pre-set pivot table which displays the extracted data. |
Page fields
If not run from a web form, the following fields must be set in order to generate the report:
| Element | Description |
|---|---|
| Dimensions | Allows you to select the dimension and hierarchy (Control Group, Reclassification FST or Form) of the data to include in the report. |
| Filters | Allows you to select the other elements to include in the report. |
| Detail | If selected, all the selected elements for which data are registered will be reported to the last level of detail. Otherwise, the data are shown as totals, without being detailed for each individual element. |
| Display mode | If the Detail option is selected, you can specify whether the elements must be shown with the code only, with the description only, or with the code and the description. |
