Description
Original and consolidated rows Opens a page that shows the original and consolidated rows (Original and consolidated rows page). Also checks the balancing on the various types of amount.
Control group balancing Only available if diagnostic is enabled on the process. Opens a page where you can edit the control groups to which the accounts adjusted in the journal belong (Control Group Balancing page).
Financial investments congruence Only available if diagnostic is enabled on the process. - Diagnose: runs the journal diagnostic. - Diagnose and update log: only available if the scenario/period is not locked and diagnostic log management is active on the process. Runs journal diagnostic and updates the diagnostic results log. See Diagnostic data processing .
Submission and posting Only available if journal submission is enabled for the entity to which the journal is linked, or the journal category is one of those for which the 'Draft' status is available. - Submit: opens a page to select the step for which to submit the journal. - Submit via workflow: opens a page with a tab for every journal submission step. The workflow to be used to submit the journal is shown for every step. - Reject: opens a page to select the step to be used to reject the journal. - Post: publishes the journal, making it visible to data processes and reports. - Unpost: cancels the publication of the journal, so it will no longer affect data processing results and data reporting. - Switch journal to draft mode: sets the journal status to 'draft'. Newly inserted rows will have no impact on the data processing result and data reporting. - Submit and post : opens the page where you can select the step for which to submit the journal and, once submission is complete, post the journal. - Reject and unpost: opens a page where you can select the step for which to submit the journal and, when submission is complete, cancels the posting of the journal. - Show journal log: opens a page showing the history of the submission and publication activities of the journal. Depreciation proposal Only available if the event scenario has been defined on the process and the journal is not a “draft” journal. Opens a page to define the journal’s depreciation plan. See Amortisation/Depreciation data processing.
Generate rows from template Only available if the window is in write mode and the journal does not have “draft” status. If the journal template has been defined for the journal category, it opens rows automatically. CCH Tagetik allows you to define a journal template for every category, i.e. a list of accounts that normally comprise the journal. See Categories list.
Generate rows from another journal Available only when the window is in edit mode. Opens a window to automatically open the rows of the journal from another journal. The following fields must be filled in: - Scenario: you can choose one active original scenario visible to the user. The header scenario is proposed by default. - Period: you can choose one period of the selected scenario. The header period is proposed by default. - Journal number: you can choose a source journal belonging to the selected scenario and period. For entity journals, if the window is opened from the Contributor cockpit, journals on categories whose type is “contributor entity journals” will be proposed, if the window is opened from the Consolidator cockpit, journals on categories whose type is contributor entity journals” or “consolidator entity journals” will be proposed. For consolidation journals, journals on categories whose type is “consolidation journals” will be proposed. The header journal number is proposed by default. - Origin: you can choose one or several origins from among those present in the rows of the selected journal.
