Bulkloader view

Purpose of the page

The Bulkloader view is a spreadsheet listing the rows of all journals that match the filters set in the main filter panel. It also displays the most relevant header information.

Once the user has applied the main filters, the contents of the spreadsheet are loaded.

The Bulkloader allows you to:

  • delete rows of different journal headers
  • edit rows of different journal headers
  • insert new rows on existing journal headers
  • insert new rows for journal headers yet to be created; this also involves the automatic opening of journal headers

IMPORTANT: The bulkloader is not to be considered a data integration tool. This means it is necessary to pay attention to the volume of data being handled. More precisely:

  • If the spreadsheet contains more than 50,000 cells, a message warns the user that the loading operation may require significant system resources and asks for confirmation to proceed with the upload.
  • If the spreadsheet contains more than 100,000 cells, a message warns the user that the loading operation is excessively demanding and the operation is not performed.
