Amount & IC rules

The amount and IC rules define the criteria that CCH Tagetik applies to the entry of data related to amounts and intercompany entries. You can define general rules and overrides, or deviations from the general rule to be applied to specific processes.

For example, you may need to enable data entry from forms at the node level, or to activate the break back function (), for a certain process but not for another.

By default, data entry is enabled for every process.

Journal rules and settings

The journal rules and settings define the criteria that CCH Tagetik apply to the entry of data related to journals. For these rules you can also define general rules and overrides, or deviations from the general rule to be applied to specific processes.

For example, for a given process, you may need to insert journals with details on the custom dimensions on the journals even if their management is enabled.
