Define deferred taxes
Sequence of procedures for defining deferred taxes¶
- Define a fiscal policy and the relative taxes
Data Processing tile > Taxes > Fiscal Policy and Taxes
Application database > Navbar > Data Processing > Taxes > Fiscal Policy and Taxes
This procedure allows you to define, in the list, a fiscal policy with the relative associated taxes to be able to subsequently associate it to specific entities.
- Click
in the tool bar to define a new fiscal policy. - In the Attributes tab, define the code and description, then in Taxes click
to associate one or several taxes with the selected fiscal policy. - Click Save to confirm.
- Associate the fiscal policy with an entity
Dimensions tile > Entity > List
Application database > Navbar > Dimensions > Entity > List
- Select the desired entity.
- In the Rules tab, in Fiscal policy, select the desired policy.
- Click Save to confirm.
- Define the tax rates
Application database > Rates > Tax rates
Application database > Navbar > Rates > Tax rates
- Click
in the tool bar to define a new tax rate. - In the Attributes tab, define the characteristics of the rate.
- Specifically, in Tax, select the tax to which the rate applies and select the percentage value of the rate in Rate.
- Click Save to confirm.
- Define the output accounts
Data Processing tile > Taxes > Taxes setup - output accounts
Application database > Navbar > Data Processing > Taxes > Taxes setup - output accounts
- Click
in the tool bar to add a fiscal policy and the related tax. - In the Deferred and prepaid taxes tab, define the accounts on which to register the deferred and prepaid taxes.
- In the Direct Taxes tab, define the necessary information for booking the direct taxes.
- In the Direct Taxes - Payments tab, define the information related to direct tax payments.
- Click Save to confirm.
- Define the input accounts
Data Processing tile > Taxes - Deferred and Prepaid Taxes - Input accounts
Application database > Navbar > Data Processing > Taxes - Deferred and Prepaid Taxes - Input accounts
- Click
in the tool bar to add an input account. - In the Attributes tab, define the particular accounts to be considered for calculating the taxable base and the percentage of the account subject to tax.
- Click Save to confirm.
