The Intelligent Disclosure System
Introduction¶
Intelligent Disclosure is the process of communicating relevant and reliable information about a company's performance, activities and financial and non-financial data to various stakeholders, such as investors, managers, employees, customers, auditors and the public.
Intelligent Disclosure aims to provide a complete and consistent picture of a company's condition, achievements, challenges and prospects, as well as the context and factors influencing them. Intelligent Disclosure has applications in various areas such as reporting, transparency, decision-making, evaluation, learning and improvement.
What is it for¶
CCH Tagetik Intelligent Disclosure is a solution that enables users to produce high quality financial reports in less time and with less effort. It also enables users to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders through a clear and consistent narrative.
Intelligent Disclosure features¶
The CCH Tagetik Intelligent Disclosure Solution enables the creation, management and disclosure of financial and non-financial reports with a high level of accuracy, consistency and efficiency. It allows users to collaborate on the same document in real time, using a single data source from the CCH Tagetik platform.
CCH Tagetik Intelligent Disclosure allows users to:
- Create dynamic reports that can be updated with the latest data and calculations from CCH Tagetik and external sources
- Apply consistent formatting and branding to all reports and documents
- Incorporate charts, tables and other visual elements to improve readability and clarity of reports
- Add comments and information on results and context
- Define several versions of the same document or parts thereof and then compare them
- Keeping track of changes and revisions made by different users and reviewers

The actions that can be performed on documents depend on the tool used.

Access to the disclosure system¶
Depending on the task to be performed, the disclosure functions are accessed either from the SharePoint web interface, or from Word.

Origin of the data¶
Depending on the needs of the project, it is possible to manage forms in documents whose data comes from the Financial Workspace and exploits the dimensions of CCH Tagetik, or data from the Analytical Workspace. Analytical Workspaces are used when customised dimensions are needed in the project that complement the dimensions of CCH Tagetik.
