Export Analytical Workspace data via tasks

Export formats

Data can be exported from Analytical Workspace datasets in the following formats:

  • XBRL
  • XML
  • File
  • Bank of Italy Matrix

The data is exported via specific workflow tasks.

Export parameters

To run the export task, the following parameters (all mandatory) must be set:

  • Analytical workspace: Analytical workspaces in which the partition containing the data is present.
  • Analytical Workspace Dataset: name of the dataset containing the Data Target Mapping.
  • Analytical Workspace Dataset typology: typology of dataset selected in Analytical Workspace Dataset which contains the Data Target Mapping.
  • Data Target Mapping: name of the data target mapping that you want to use to generate the file; this must be present in the dataset selected previously in Analytical Workspace Dataset.

Export data to XML file

The export requires the user to define the structure of the XML file using (see XML Generator), and therefore to map the partition columns and the XML file elements (see XML Mapping page).

In order for the system to run the data processing, the selected dataset must contain the Entity dimension and the type must be Reporting Layer. For more details on export task settings, see Task (Export from AW) window).

Export data to files

This data process allows you to create a file in the format defined in the relative Data Target Mapping file, see Data Target Mapping page.

Note: the task is not visible and is not supported in the consolidator user phases. Although visible in the mixed phases, the task is only supported in the contributor phases.

Export data to Bank of Italy Matrix

The user must specify whether they want to produce a file to forward the Report to the supervisory body or whether it is an Adjustment to a previous report.

Export data to XBRL files

This data process allows you to create an XBRL file in accordance with EBA (European Banking Authority) taxonomy.

Export data to XBRL csv files

The data processing makes it possible to generate an XBRL file in the new csv format according to the EBA/Eiopa taxonomy.
