Technological architecture
Components of the platform¶
The Tagetik platform is full-web, for all processes, and is made up of the following components:
- web-based interface accessed from a browser, which gives all users an active role in all process phases
- Office .NET interface which may include:
- Excel .NET for distributed data entry and reporting
- Word .NET for Collaborative Disclosure Management
- Power Point .NET which produces PowerPoint presentations whose forms and amounts are linked to the Tagetik database and can thus be updated.
The open architecture uses relational Microsoft and Oracle databases to keep a record of the data, and provides a direct interface with the ERP systems. It provides a scalable technological environment that is easy to install, run and maintain, and it can increase the reliability and quality of data.
