Intelligent Analytics

Introduction

Intelligent Analytics(AI) allows users to use Excel and web dashboardsto easily navigate CCH® Tagetik data

IMPORTANT: AI is available on the current and previous two versions of CCH Tagetik. On earlier versions, backward compatibility is not guaranteed.

Numerical data is stored in AI structures in double precision floating point format.

Functional Requirements

To access data via Intelligent Analytics, you must create a Reporting View from the Dataset containing the data you wish to view (see Reporting View Analitical Information Hub) or from the Financial Workspace (see Financial Reporting View).

IMPORTANT: AIH Reporting Views can only be created on Analytical Workspaces that have been updated according to the Version Update Window of the partitions of an Analytical Workspace

To access dimensional hierarchies via Intelligent Analytics, the option convert to flat structure must be activated on the desired hierarchies, see Add new hierarchy window.

Restrictions

Reporting views cannot be created on AIH Datasets that:

  • contain at least one dimension field with Personal data protection option
  • contain at least one field relating to the dimension Azienda_CTP and/or DEST2_CTP
  • contain only text and/or date fields

Note: text and date fields within datasets that also contain other field types will not be part of the Reporting View.
