Purpose of the page

This page allows you to define the fields of a virtual dataset, as well as any calculated fields.

Page tabs

Element	Description
Relationships	This allows you to define relationships between the physical datasets the records of which must be returned by a virtual dataset. Only online physical datasets are available. At runtime, the virtual dataset returns the records based on the specified relationships. See Relationships tab.
Fields	Allows you to define the properties and values of fields and calculated fields for the virtual dataset. See Fields tab.
