User Rights

What they are for

User rights allow the configuration of security criteria by controlling the elements and functionalities the user can access in each application database. The configuration on the Data Model determines which elements of a dimension can be displayed or edited by the user.

IMPORTANT: By default, every new user has management rights on all items. Such rights can be controlled through restrictions. Exceptions are those on category and consolidation scenario, which are restricted by default and must be set by the administrator.

Types of User Rights

For all functionalities the user can access, the type of rights can be specified:

Element	Description
Visibility Rights	allow consultation of data only
Editability Rights	enable the updating (insertion/modification) and viewing of data
Submission rights	allow data submission
